Um, yeah i just need advice...?

earlier today my mom told me i was going to get my haircut. my hair earlier was similar to jason dolley's hair style. the last time i got my hair cut she told me that i could get it anyway i wanted when we go get it done next time (because i had to get it style different than the last year. so today she wanted it like cody linlen from hannah montana so i was thinking that it wasn't going to get much shorter. that was the first promise she broke. then we got to the hair salon and she told the stylist to not listen to what i wanted and top make it ALOT shorter! so there in the hair place i said you lied to me again! everyone liked my hair the way it was before! i told her that. once i got my haircut it was way shorter than the picture she brought in so i told her i felt really ugly and i shouldn't have to feel that way. it's my hair i should be able to do what they want. im not 3 years old, im almost freaking 15! so when i got home i styled it like is was earlier but with a very

I hear you. Its not fair when your talking and your mom isn't listening. However, sometimes its the way we come across that get the reaction we don't want. Are you being direct and mature when you tell her things, or are you throwing a bit of a 'hissy fit'? When my mom was doing these sort of things to me (and believe you me, i had some terrible hair cuts under her supervision) I just went out and got a J-O-B. Sounds harsh, but seriously, when you have your own money no one can make you have a haircut you don't want. There's paper routes and odd jobs, baby sitting and such, for someone your age. So, just think about it, especially if your mom still isn't listening. And as for your room thing,just remember that you situation won't be a forever. And the aggro won't last forever. So focus on the good times, which I'm sure you must have. ;-)
