Do tangled ends mean their dead and split?

i have african american hair and a week or so after straightening my hair i noticed my ends are really nappy and tangled but the rest of it (besides my growth) is pretty straight so i was j/w whether that means i need a cut or what.

you don't need to cut it but maybe trim it which means you just cut the very ends but more so you probably need a good conditioner heres a great web site for all you bath body and hair needs called carols daughter

It doesn't mean thats its split or dead!! Do you get your split ends cut? That would determine if it may be needed now!! My ends get like that and I get my ends clipped 2 oe 3 times a year!! It just depends. Good luck!!<3

It does sound like you need a cut. You should really have your hair cut every 6-10 weeks (depending on how fast your hair grows) for healthy hair.
