How do you style hair up for homecoming...?

I cannot find anything online on how to style my daughters hair ..up... for home coming...it cannot be that hard and i wanted to see if I can do it for her...any sights with how to instructions that anyone has seen?

I am a middle school hair stylist, im 13 and i do hair all the time for school events.

Well everyone knows what half up half down is so for the top layer I would grab thin pieces at the top and back comb it with a fine toothed comb all around the top but remember use hair spray every time you brush back. Then take a brush and lightly flatten the top, top layer so its back combed underneath. (this is all on the top half) Then pull it back and use a clip or hair elastic. Then Curl the bottom half. Its cute yet elegant.
