My hair is in the growing out phase from a bad straightener back in October. I had most of the damag

so it is about chin length and in layers. However, now some of my natural curl is growing back in so it is half straight and half curly. Therefore, I have to style it with some form of heat daily to make it look professional and presentable. The texture of it is fine and silky soft, so my question is, Is this hurting anything? It sure does help me cope with it while it's growing out. Or, should I get clip in extensions or another type of extensions while growing it out or would that just further damage my hair? I'm taking vitamins, biotin, carrot juice, etc. and I've always had to wash daily - naturally curly fine thin hair after laying on it all night is not presentable to say the least the next morning - especially now that it is at the in between half curly half straight stage.

well, you could relax the curly part of your hair straight, or get a ceramic flat iron to minimize the damage, but if your hair is naturally curly you should probably only use shampoo on it every other day and use conditioner everyday, so you have enough natural oil in your hair to help protect it from daily heat damage. i have a friend who flatirons her hair daily and im going to be honest she looks like she has hay coming out of her head. Another tip, only straighten the curly part. I hope ive answered your question.
