Will my hair color change if i leave lemon juice in it over night?

i'm trying to get a natural set of highlights. If i leave lemon juice in my hair with no sun over night, will my hair color change? I just dont want it to go completely blonde or whatever. My hair is a walnut/gold blonde color. any advice?

No don't use lemon juice its so drying. What I did and what worked great is, I poured peroxide all over my hair until it was wet and then hung outside in the sun all day. It really lightened up my hair! I have naturally dark blonde though so I'm not sure how it would work for darker hair. Good luck!

yeah it will change - it will lighten the color, but not like hightlights. it will just dull your hair.

no you've got to be in the sun for it to turn blonder, but that is really drying for the hair. you can get this john fredia lemon juice gel which is really good, but you have to be in the sun

Not only will it lighten it up a little, it will also dry it out immensely.

go to a pro. ive known plenty of people who have done that and ended up being all blonde
