What color should I dye my hair?

I'm looking for a new change in my hair color. I have golden brownish hair (naturally), and i was either thinking of going lighter or darker..well when i was younger it used to be an ash brownish blonde, but it got darker over time. oh and btw, i have light brown eyes, i kinda want them to stand out more...and i have fair to golden toned skin...

please give me your opinions based on semi-permanent dyes, i don't want to use peroxide. Thanks =)

if you have light brown eyes i would definitely go with a chocolate brown, i have light brown eyes to and that's what i dyed my hair and i love it. it really brings the attention to my eye. but that is just me.

Do a dark/red/brown hair color....that always stood out to me.
