Green Dress for Prom. what make-up should i wear?

I have bought a beautiful dark green dress with a black metallic sheen for Prom. I have no clue what make-up to use, though! I have decided that I want all black accessories: purse, shoes, etc. I have orangey hair and freckles, pale skin and dark green eyes. I also have pink cheeks. Please Help!!!

Your makeup should compliment, not match, your outfit. I would suggest keeping your eyes neutral, and playing up your lips. Use an eyeliner on your top lids, curl your lashes, and apply a couple of coats of mascara. You can also apply a coat of mascara to your lower lashes, if you wish. Now, find a lipstick that compliments both your skin tone, and the colour of your dress. A nice shade of red would be beautiful, but make sure it isn't overwhelming your skin tone. Prime your lips with a chapstick or lip balm so your lipstick won't be flakey. Because red lipstick tends to bleed, carefully line your lips with a neutral liner. Now, using a lip brush, pick up the colour onto the brush, and apply it to your lips. Blot once, and repeat. Get a clear lipgloss, and apply it to your lips using a clean lip brush, then you're done! i think that you should use a dark green on the eyelid and then a bright shimmer green on the crease and brow line. for your face you should use a bronzer powder called sunkissed you can get it from wal-mart. have fun!!
