I have vitiligo, does anyone else, how does it make you feel?

I personally blame it for destroying my self confidence. Always as a kid I was worried people were looking at me then when I developed vitiligo they were looking at me! But after 5 years Ive kinda started to ignore it, mainly thanks to my wonderful lady, but I still get scared to go out alone (though I dont tell her that, as Im a man dammit!) I have patches pretty much in ALL the expected places, but not huge patches. The thing I am scared of is it getting really bad in the future, Ive also noticed my hair is graying or whiting a lot in different parts and I dont want to be 25 and grey.

hi there im 18 with vitiligo and tinea versicolor.

i dont have vitiligo bad though i just have patches on my legs, and i am embarrased sometime to wear shorts. i used to hate wearing shorts anywhere but now that i have my fiance i am confident and i dont care what people think of me.

now i had tinea on my back it is almost like vitiligo little white spots that start to connect and grow big if not treated.

it was bad but it has cured but will come back.

anyways- i mean yea it sucks to have but why care what other people think ya know? its not life threatining rite? so why worry/ yes i am scared of mine spreading also and i hope it doesnt until im really old. oh god i dont want to think of it.

to you id say enjoy life now with your wife .
