Are blonde hair and blue eyes boring?

I was thinking of dyeing my hair red or black, and getting green contacts

My husband loves the color of my eyes (and I would never consider changing them) and my hair is strawberry blonde. My girls all have blue eyes and red hair or blonde. I tell them to love them for themselves because I love them the way that they are. I did in college change my hair color, but I went lighter rather than darker.
