Red or black dress?

My school's Holiday Ball is coming up and I've decided on a dress, but I can't pick between red or black.

Other information:

*I'm assuming the model is wearing a serious push-up bra and my intention is to not make myself look like that. I'm a freshman.

*I'm African-American with medium-deep skin and shoulder-length, relaxed hair.

Any other suggestions (shoes, hair, makeup, jewelry, whatever) would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks so much!

that red would look amazing with your skintone. its a killer dress lol I wouldn't go overboard with accessories. The dress is enough, keep the focus on that. Keep your makeup formal but not too done up (you want to look more natural of course) and keep your hair fun. That dress is fun so you don't want your hair to be too done up

i would go for the red, it would match better with your skin tone i think. I would also go with you hair down, with a couple pieces pinned back (like 3 or 4) and curl a couple pieces into ringlettes on the bottom. for shoes i would go with anything you feel comfortable to walk in .. probably in black unless you wanna go off the hook and go silver! and for jewelry i would just go with something really simple, maybe a silver bracelet and i small silver or black necklace!! hope this helps!!
