Humidity is taking the best of me.?

I'm a 23 year African American female. Now that I live in Texas, I wanted to grow my hair naturally; without relaxing my hair with harsh chemicals. I came a point were I don't like to relax my hair anymore, but living in Texas I have no choice. I tried to hot comb my hair but that didn't work because Texas humidity is so crazy. I have 3 kids, I don't like to spend so much time doing my hair. I need help! Does anybody have any ideas on what I should do with my hair. To relax or not to relax ? Really it's too hot to wear wigs, and extensions. Sometimes I get to the point were I want to chop all my hair off, but thats only when I'm mad at my hair. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP! WHAT ARE THE NICE AND QUICK HAIRSTYLES THAT I CAN WEAR ? AND WHAT CAN I USE TO MANAGE MY HAIR EASILY ? THANK U
